Experience
Nicola graduated from CUNY Medgar Evers College in 2008 with a BA in Psychology. She then completed a M.A. Program in Psychology in Education from Teachers' College, Columbia University in 2012. While completing her masters, Nicola worked as a college counselor at an Educational Talent Search TRiO program at Brooklyn College. Since then, she has been an active member of various professional organizations dedicated to increasing access and success in higher education for under-served and under-represented young people. She now works full time as a Director of College Access at StreetSquash in Harlem. Nicola joined Bell Curves in 2017 and is qualified for (and enjoys) teaching SAT/ACT English/Reading sections. Some of her favorite hobbies include trying new things (especially foods), traveling to visit family and exploring new places. She loves to laugh and enjoys working towards personal growth and happiness.
