Teacher Spotlight - Josephine Sloyan

Josephine’s passion for teaching began in college, where she provided support for low-income students as a student mentor. After working as a language mentor in the French department, she taught at a high school in rural France to help prepare students for the bac (a national exam comparable to the SAT).  She has worked at elementary, high school, and college levels, and has experience with students as young as six and as old as twenty-two. Regardless of age and/or subject, Josephine always strives to incorporate holistic, equitable teaching methods in the classroom.
